Gojira is a French heavy metal band formed in 1996 in Bayonne. The band's lineup consists of brothers Joe Duplantier (vocals, guitar) and Mario Duplantier (drums), Christian Andreu (guitar), and Jean-Michel Labadie (bass). Known for their progressive and technical approach to death metal, Gojira is acclaimed for their environmental themes and complex compositions.
